(2)Ansonia Clock Co., Ansonia, Conn., 30 hours, time and strike sharp gothic or steeple clock. (3)Brewster & Ingrahams, Bristol, Conn., 30 hours, time and strike sharp gothic or steeple clock.
CONDITION:
(1)Refinished mahogany veneered case. Movement stamped "Brewster & Ingrahams" needs to be attached to the backboard with support blocks. Period dial has been repainted. Frosted tablet is a replacement. There are no hands. (2)Rosewood veneered case in original finish a small repair on the base. Original painted dial wear to the numbers and minor loss at the mounting pins. Hands are not original. Original tablet with some loss. (3)Mahogany veneered case under a dark original finish. Original painted dial has yellowed some with paint loss at the mounting pins and oil stains at the winding arbors. Hands are modern replacements. Nice Fenn glass with very minor loss. Movement retains original brass springs. Finial tips are damaged. Label is very dark.
